Return of the J(edi)

Hola!

It’s been a long time since I added any new content (thanks to various reasons ranging from lack of time to lack of health). With another CAT fast approaching, I thought I should remedy that situation to whatever extent proves possible, and so here I am posting again.

The plan is, starting today, I’ll put one post a week for the next 3 months or so, starting with some Geometry…after that, well we’ll just have to see πŸ™‚

regards

J

    • Well that may be because I am primarily a maths guy. The only reliable tip I can give you on the current VARC section is “read like crazy” (well, it works for me!).

  1. LRDI has become more challenging lately. How should one go about preparing for this section ? Any material you can recommend? Thanks πŸ™‚

    • First, get used to a wide range of different types of “logic”. Could be standard lateral/logical puzzles online, could be Sudokus and Kakuros and so on. Then solve lots of good mid-level to high-level sets and build a mental database of different types and effective approaches. Finally, practice with old actual CAT sets (2003-2008 had sets of comparable level in terms of complexity and variety to the current lot).

  2. Sir, would request you to help us in the section of LRDI along with Maths. Can you please write blogs for that too?

    • I had put up a few posts for that too. But the effort involved is a lot more as I had to make PPTs (and then videos). Don’t have the bandwidth for that currently! So you’ll have to be satisfied with QA for now…
