First A and B went , they took = 2 mins A came back = 1 min A and C crossed , took = 5 mins A came back = 1 min A and D crossed finally = 10 mins _______________________________ Total = 10 + 1 + 5 + 1 +2 = 19 mins ? Reply

Umm, Reduced it a bit to 17 mins, A and B went = 2 mins A comes back = 1 min C and D passes with taking the torch from A = 10 mins B comes back to take A = 2 mins A and B passes finally = 2 mins —————————————————————– 17 mins total, can it be reduced further? Reply
