Arpan, note that for it to be a synonym, the part of speech should be the same. So heir would be correct for inheritor but inherit wouldn’t. Hence steal is not acceptable for stealthy, neither is jolly for jollity or nourish for nourished (anyway, differently inflected forms of the same word hardly count! 🙂 They would make it too easy…)
