So, there are plenty of books which will improve your command of English (some help with grammar and usage, some with vocab, some with critical reading, some with all of the above). The thing is, not all books are interesting to all people. So what I decided to do is, rather than putting a list of books without detail, I chose to put up a page or so of each book I recommend so that the reader can get a preview, a flavour of the book and see whether they want to try it. If you enjoy the style, by all means I would suggest you read the book as it will have a positive impact on your English.
