revelation!!!! till now i used to approach this problem by taking some length x on the longest side.. then differentiate to find the value of x and finally substitute the value of x and arrive pompously at the solution.
Amazing Post…
Sir, what about the cases of the cube?
Will the quickest be root 3 * side ? And, the longest be root 5 * side ?
Please let me know in case I’m wrong or missing the concept somewhere?
Not longest – side*rt5 will be the shortest along the surface (for an ant, for example) and side*rt3 will be the shortest through the interior of the cube (for a fly, for example).
Very Nice : Keep it up 🙂
